so.... just opened this beast-good weight, great looks, great insides. as soon as i hooked it up and turned the key, it made a loud pop ... this is replacing another lanzar 3000w so it's on an already working system, just swapped wire and off we go or so I hoped... 7 years ago their silver and black series would cook eggs with the best fosgate.. this is my second power acoustic amp to fail lately without me ever hearing a note... waiting on my replacement so i'll update when it arrives,, for now (disappointed)........
So I got my amp today.. excellent one day shipping:(thanks amazon):.. hooked it up, crossed my fingers and..... no pop. I used a resistor from a capacitor on the 12v after ground attached temporarily to gently charge the capps in the amp till it read 12v on the multi meter. Old man taught me that.....i know, not necessary but safe.. anyway this amp is unbelievable... i have had a 3000w kicker mono on 2 L5 15's, a 4000 kole audio, and many more high doller amps.. think this is my new favorite.. at 2ohms will lose your breath.. 1 ohm stable so.....I can only imagine... blew two ssl 15's at less than half no bass boost @8ohms. The lanzar heritage 3000w wont blow one at 2ohms.. so in all way worth the time,money,and shipping.. I plan on using 2 of these strapped for around 8000w rms @ 2ohms on a single RE audio,MT 15... hope to do some window breaking again... will update with actual wattage after some multi meter testing... Best of luck !!!!!!

This amp is so far a True Hard Hitter made me have to order new speakers that can handle the RMS so Im ordering some pyle 12" 3500 watts. as far as my car is now i have a 99 oldsmobile intregue my ears hurt bassfullly in a very good way. Makes my heart feel like it skips a beat. Also when i get out the car my body feels like its still shaking. But did have one issue like i said before i had some older subs 2 12" kenwoods and 1 15" kicker cvr and almost blew them. My freind came over with a lil more power handling subs from Boss audio they where 2 12" 1400 watts and 2 10" mtx 500 watts and sounded great. made coins flip on the roof of a 98 honda passport. with much more gain to be added but didnt want to blow his speakers so all in all get this amp and show off thanks power acoustik for a great price and awsome sound sharp crisp clean pure BASS.....

I bought this product about two months ago and had it hooked up on two boss 10s 2,000 watts a piece.... The gain turned up not even half the way and it was beating ridiculously.. I have since ordered two Power Acoustik Mofo 124d's and they will be here May 16... I'm putting them in a cusstomer box made for my truck and I will update this review at that time but it is a powerful amp for sure... Will require 0 guage wire but you can get away with 4 guage....
