Defective front right channel, Amazon and sub sellers not warrantied sellers.

The front right channel is not properly shielded and sends an electrical impulse to the front right channel or whatever speaker you plug into the front right channel. This impulse has blown two speakers in two days, and although the speakers like the amp are brand new they are warrantied because they are not JL products.

Amazon and all amazon sub sellers are not JL authorized internet retailers. So any JL product you buy here will not be covered by warranty even if brand new. Now I have a $900 amp that I cant use, cant return since it has been installed, and is not eligible for warrantied service. I cant even pay for service because JL wont take it from an individual, only and authorized retailer. I have been royally screwed and there is no information anywhere about this on Amazon; beware.

Is the best amp I have every owned, hands down. It blows the doors off my big Denon Amp I have. Also crystal clear sound works great with my W6 12" Sub.

Likely B Stock - Be Careful!

In fairness, I haven't installed the amp yet. As a former pro installer, I can tell this was NOT a factory new A stock unit. There are clear scratches and install marks apparent... not a lot, but to the trained eye, red flags that this could be a factory second, or B stock item. The JL Audio box was really worn, unsealed, and had clearly seen a lot of wear.

I've contacted the seller, and again, in fairness, can't vouch for ill intent. But with that said, I did not receive a new in box unit via amazon. These are incredible amps.... hoping this one will fire up.

Good luck, guys. It's a trade off... good price online vs. getting greased from an authorized dealer - BUT getting the warranty.
