5Monoblock amp
By Joel Chesney
I am always cautious about inexpensive electronics but this amp has surprised me. Design and construction are superb. I run my system pretty light most of the time so I haven't seen any overheating issues. When I do run it hard, it pushes my Pioneer 12" woofer so hard! Would buy Planet Audio products again and again.

5YOU DONT NEED MORE THAN THIS
By carrasco
i got this amp from ebay but ebay doesnt have a decent review page, anyway, i have the gain of this amp set to the 50% hook it to a 2 8'' infinity subs which are perfect too, they both gave me a full range of bass, dont get cofused with the rediculous wattage that of 1500 watts, i also have a very complex dj system of 3000 watts, so there is no way this amp is 1500 watts, it is a 700 rms watts and my subs are 250 rms watts each (500), whats the point of buying those expensive amps?

1DEFINATLY not 1500 watts
By creeper4yoass
i've been doing car audio for 11 years now, and i thought I'd take a chance on PA product... it's not 1500 watts as i anticipated for an off-brand product. I installed this amp and 2 legacy 1000 watt subs (also not 1000watts as anticipated). and this thing barely push's them.... wattage is more like 600-700watts max output. RMS is around 150-200watts. this package in a custom made ported slot box... and I ended up getting a better amp off of Craigslist. I'm now sitting on this amp and will probably use it to push a cpl 6x9's in another customers car.... so if your looking for a 400 watt amp, this is for you.... usually I buy off name products, and anticipate the output wattage to be half of whats advertised.... this was more like a third. I hooked up the amp to a 4ohm load and 4ohms to the subs...... these subs can handle much more output..... your decision... if you need to power 1 decent quality 10" sub this would be perfect.... hope i could help.

ANY time you buy an amp look at the fuse. this amp has a 25 fuse, may be 200 watts on a good day, I wouldn't hook this up to my tweeters!.... PA is garbage and please don't buy!

this same customer is coming by today for me to tune this thing and I'm going to hook up my multimeter to it to get an avg rms..... I'll keep you posted

I just made an appt. at my corporate office to hook this up to an O'Scope on wed... i'll post the results and video....

also always look to see if the company is CEA-2006 compliant. PA, soundstream, boss are the same company. and you guessed it they are not compliant, because they lie to get your money. heres a web site to help
