I used this amplifier in my F150 supercrew, behind the passenger side rear seat. I wasnt sure that it will fit, but it fit with plenty of space available. routed the wires from the front and connected to the speakers, sound is great, 100 times better than it was before, even when i already had upgraded before the head unit and speakers.
I dont see the unit getting hot or anything like that.

Amp performs great, much better than my factory GM Booster. I have it hooked up to my 4 Pioneer speakers that were swapped in over the factory ones.

I bought this unit for my son's car. I wanted a 4 channel amp so I could boost output from all channels without the cost and hassle of multiple amps. This produces plenty of power and is very stable. Warms up some, but so far I've run it for hours at a time without significant heat or any problems at all. I chose to wire this using the speaker-level leads from my head unit because I wanted to retain the ability to fade front to back. Turns out I never use the fader and the speaker level leads (eight 17-foot wires) do generate a little bit of noise. Would recommend connecting with RCA cables. If you only have one set of RCA outputs, you can buy a pair of one-female to two-male adapters and plug them into the amp's four input channels.
First rate unit at a really great price.
