Exactly what it says. You get what you pay for. I knew I was buying a cheap amp when I bought it. Don't go into it expecting $500 sound. It puts out it's rated power...sort of.
They DO tell you the true RMS @ _ Ohm ratings of it in the manual and fine print but the packaging and box does the usual flea market audio trick...you know, the whole overrating the power output. Throwing 15000 Watts at you for $30...Yeah, that thing.
I would NEVER use this with a woofer of any kind. It does a noticeably better job than my Alpine headunit for powering the front and rear speakers but that's about all I would recommend doing with it. The amp performs well under a seat and I haven't noticed it getting unusually hot or any cut outs. It's quite small which is nice for tight fits. It's comparable in size to a typical factory amp.
I did notice that Amazon claims it has a remote subwoofer level control... Well, I didn't notice anything like that in the box. Not a big loss.
At the end of the day, it's a $30 amp. It'll do a better job powering your mids than your headunit or factory amp but that's all it's good for. Good little amp for the money. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I bought this little amp that could on an impulse due primarily to the low, low price of $40.00! I should have trusted my first instinct that no amp is ever sold for 40.00 bucks, what you get is a nicely marketed, fairly good looking paper-weight. This amp has one good review, maybe I was unlucky and received an amp that was defective but that's not likely. What I received was an amp that once installed, sounded WORSE than the cheap Pioneer head unit I am running in my truck. I tried everything, switching speaker wires, triple-checked all my connections and so forth. I plugged the same speakers into my 600W Sony Explode Amp and they sound fine, switch the speakers back to this BOSS amp and what I hear is a horribly under-powered, muffled tone. Thank goodness Amazon has a nice return policy and I quickly requested full refund.

this amp worked nice for what i needed it for ended up using a different amp for my needs but still did what i needed
